But where in France ?
In the countryside!
Where fewer people will switch to English when hearing your barely noticeable accent.
You know... the countryside.

You already know the best way to learn French is to spend time...
in France.
The cheeses, the baguettes, the wines, the strikes, the rudeness, the joie de vivre...
You know...France.

Where in the countryside?
In the Périgord region!
A perfectly hilly landscape, rivers and stone houses everywhere you look, home to some of the most important prehistorical sites in the world, rich with 1400 castles and amazing food...
You know... Le Périgord

Where in le Périgord?
In Saint-Amand-de-Coly!
Officially one of the most beautiful villages in France. Dominated by a magnificent abbey from the 12th century.
You know...Saint-Amand-de-Coly.
Ok you probably don't know. Like most French people.

Where in Saint-Amand-de-Coly?
Le Peuch
That's the name of the hamlet where the nicest people live. Obviously. My direct neighbors are farmers, they grow chestnuts, make delicious chestnut oil and will be delighted to tell you all about it! In French.

Where in Le Peuch?
La Marette
A 2 acre piece of land I named after the late Marette, a peasant who used to keep her animals here back when my oldest neighbors were kids. I happen to share it with animals too.
Where will you have lunch, diner and lessons?
Ici!
In that cute little house I built just for you with wood and straw.

Where will you stay?
Là!
At Sylvie's, my neighbor, who turned a barn into a beautiful stone house surrounded with an amazing garden, a 3 minute walk from my place.
